Brandon is survived by his parents, Charles and Margaret Wagner of Sherwood three brothers, Charles James Wagner Jr., Stephen Lee Wagner and Joshua Allen Wagner four sisters, Nikita Sue Wagner, Courtney Lynn Wagner, Tiffany Marie Wagner and Kaitlyn Cheyenne Wagner, all of Sherwood uncles and aunts Ronald Lee Wagner Jr. ![]() Brandon enjoyed playing video games, camping, fishing and playing paintball. He had lived in Sherwood all his life, and attended Colon Schools, where he was a member of the Colon wrestling team and also had participated in the school play. Brandon was born May 26, 1994, in Sturgis, a son of Charles and Margaret (Collins) Wagner. Russie is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty (Russell) Skerry, New Ross son, DeWayne (Paula), Annapolis Royal daughter, Pat (Geoff) Woodworth, Falmouth grandchildren, Alicia and Kyle Woodworth, Falmouth sister, Virginia (Michael) Rafuse, New Ross sister-in-law, Anna Skerry, New Ross many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Maggie.īesides his parents, Russie was predeceased by his step-father, Elias Leary brothers, Edison Skerry, George Skerry, and Charles Skerry. After retirement, he was kept busy planting and tending to his vegetable garden, cutting and splitting wood, riding on his 3-wheeler, watching his favorite TV shows, and helping Betty make Christmas wreaths. He loved tinkering on his special cars, most recently his Ford Mustang. Russie enjoyed spending time with his friends and meeting them for coffee at Tim Horton’s. For approximately 5 years, he drove a bus for Bluenose Transit, transporting students from New Ross and surrounding areas to the Bridgewater NSCC and then doing maintenance on all the buses during the day. Russie, like his father, was a carpenter beginning his career working for Rosedale Builders in Halifax. He was the son of the late Russell and Ella (Naugler) (Skerry) Leary. ![]() ![]() Russell "Russie" William Skerry, age 82 of New Ross, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2023, in the Valley Regional Hospital.
