These calls are to adivse you that your bill has not been paid and is subject for disconnection. We send automatic billing reminders to the contact number on your account when your bill is delinquent but before we disconnect the account for non-payment. This happens because Final Notice Letters are generated and sent on the 15th of the month, so it likely that the letter was already on its way to you when you paid your bill. If you pay your bill after the 15th it is likely you will still recieve a Final Notice Letter.
